The Malta Experience is an audio-visual show that tells the dramatic story of the islands’ 7000 year history. Educational, informative and entertaining, the show runs through the turbulent history of a small island nation that has overcome almost unimaginable odds to survive and prosper.

La Sacra Infermeria Tour
Malta’s Knights of St John are famous for repelling an invasion and their military exploits abroad. But their origins were actually those of peace and caring for the sick. This noble past is revealed on a tour of “La Sacra Infermeria” (Holy Infirmary).

Our beautiful bistro is perched upon Valletta’s bastions, and overlooks the magnificent Grand Harbour. Our menu includes a selection of sandwiches, salads, pasta and grilled food. Whether it’s a cool drink in the sun, or a relaxed lunch, all can be enjoyed whilst watching the beautiful cruise liners go by!
The Souvenir Shop at The Malta Experience has a wide range of gifts. You’ll find locally made handicrafts such as silver filigree jewellery, hand-blown decorative glass and Gozo lace, along with books on Malta’s rich history and traditions.

A very enjoyable experience the film was very informative well put together kept your attention a good history of the island of Malta and the people who have come to the islands over the centuries. We found the whole film very uplifting and helped us with our visits around the island.
The Malta Experience is ‘s must do’, perhaps before doing anything else In Valetta. Tear jerking at times. The presentation is in so many languages so no-one misses out.
This very professional and exciting multi language movie show you the beginning of Malta and its glorious history. The theater is in the St. Elmo’s fortress which adds to the authenticity of the movie.
The Malta Experience is located in Valletta, in the St. Elmo Bastions.
Buses stop at the Valletta City Gate – just 15 minutes walk away.
The location is accessible with car via the Barriera street.
